After making a few minor alterations to the code, beta 1 has been re-released as beta 1 redux. This version should now work properly under XP, and is now available as a zip file for easier deployment and testing. Just unzip the archive to a folder and double-click the FeedBeast.exe icon, that's it. Remember to back up your Feed Storage.sdf file first though, just in case.

Unfortunately, I've noticed the new feed ticker does not work too well under XP at this point. Rest assured this will be fixed for the next beta. You can still try it out and get an impression of how it will work, but it seems to constantly steal the window focus, making it darn near impossible to work with it open.

Other than that, everything is looking great. The updated beta is now available via automatic update, as well as here if you want to download it manually.

To run the beta, you will need the .NET Framework version 2.0 and Internet Explorer. Everything else is included!

Note also that the Help documentation has not been included, for sake of file size.
